So it's been awhile, so I'll cathch you up! The kids and I have been having a lot of fun, enjoying warm weather again. I really HATE winter, so when warm weather comes, I am outside! We went to Devils Den in Gettysburg, and just climbed around on the rocks. It was fun. Beana even got into the action. We also saw a black snake there, pretty nasty, but cool at the same time.

I also had to get a picture of Sabrina and her morning hair. I love it! She was looking out the window to say goodbye to daddy! It reminds me of her Aunt Spring's morning hair. She also had the same morning hair, when we were kids. Sabrina looks a lot like her!

Also what comes with us playing outside, I can put my tortise outside to eat the weeds. They LOVE weeds! Anyway, I had her out and I was sitting out there watching her, so she does not run away, yes a tortise can run away. Then Adam had to run to Gettysburg and asked if I could go with him. I said sure, then asked Tori to sit in the back yard and watch her, and she was excited. Well when we got home about a half hour later, she was in the front yard reading a book in the tree. i smiled at her and asked if she put Penelope away, and she screamed and jumped out out of the tree, ran to the back yard. i followed, and by the time I got there, she was crying, running around the yard. She forgot she was watching her, and sure enough Penelope ran away. The whole family started looking, and two hours later,a nd a lot of personal and family prayers later, we found her. Tori was so happy! She was crwaling in the grass, and that is why she is green. She was crying the whole time, and that is why her face is so red and puffy. I just had to share that little story....I will blog again soon. Till then.....

Hugs from "Beana"

So I have to share a couple cute things Sabrina is always doing. She gives the best hugs in the world, but she only gives it to a select few. She wraps her arms around your neck, and legs around your body and squishes just the perfect amount of pressure. You feel sooo loved, when you get a true hug from Sabrina. She also gives great kisses. She has never given the open mouth kiss that toddlers give, she has always puckered her lips and kissed. It is the cutest thing in the world. Boy is she a talker too. She just sits there and babbles on, and on, as if she is having a completely normal conversation with you. She KNOWS you are understanding her. She is a climber, and always getting into things. This morning I was sitting in the kitchen, and I heard her saying, "WEEE-WEEE" I look at her and she is holding the bar on her high chair and swinging under it. So I laugh, and tell I want to get my camera. I tell her to stay there, I will be back. She lets go, folds her arms, and waits for me to come back. When I came back with the camera, she looks at me and says, "Ok?" I tell her okay back, and she turns and starts swinging again! All the while saying "WEEEEE-WEEEE!" again. She is too dang smart!

So I wake up yesterday, to read scriptures with Adam. I walk out to the kitchen, so I can read while he eats breakfast, I'm not a breakfast eater, and I am instantly in a bad mood! It is April 8th, and can anybody figure out why? Something is wrong with this picture...WHY, OH WHY IS THERE SNOW ON MY DAFFODILS!?!?!?!

I hate to be cold, so I look forward to Spring and Summer so much, that I cry when it starts to get warm, out of pure joy! So when I wake up in April and see snow on the ground, I get really mad. Adam walked in and saw me standing in front of the window, hands on hips, jaw open, and mean angry eyes, and just laughed. He told me to just not look at it and I will feel better. No I won't, there is snow on my daffodils! I had to take some picture, so here they are!

It was gone by lunch, so I did feel better later, plus it is supposed to be in the 60's today, so I am not too mad. But if I ever see snow in April again, there will be, H-E-double hockey sticks, to pay!!! Have a great day!

I think I'm addicted

So I'm back already, I think I'm hooked. Don't count on a daily blog, but I will blog every so often. I just wanted to share the fact that I was showing my girls my blog, and my 10 year old just had to say. "Uh, mom, you spelled okay wrong!" Boy do I love being corrected by my baby that I created! I just laughed, and said, "I meant to spell it that way." She knew I not telling the truth, but hey, I am the mom, I'm always right! Yes Shelly I will bear my testimony of how I abuse my kids on a regular basis. I find so much joy in torturing them. Is that wrong?
Libby I would have to say that is a pretty good April fools joke, and oh so cruel. Adam would have to yell at me if I did that to him. Although Tori told me yesterday that thanks to a previous April fools, she will never eat chocolate doughnut hole again. You see I made home made play dough, and added cocoa powder, so it looked like chocolate dough, and smelled like it too. I then rolled it into doughnut hole balls, and rolled them in powder sugar. When they go home for school, while they were doing their home work, I offered them an after school snack. They both took a bite and about threw up. I was laughing so hard I was crying! Then Adam got home from work and I offered him one, and he popped the whole thing in his mouth, bit down, and started gagging. I was rolling on the floor! I do love to torture my family. It makes me so happy!

Oaky, so I will blog already!!!!

So my family is really into blogging, and so are my friends, and everyone is telling me I have to start doing this. So here I am, plus it is a way of journaling. Spring said if you make it a goal to blog at least once a month, you will feel so happy. So that is where I am starting. It is April first, and I am here.
So I want to start off by saying I love April fools! I get my family every year. Today I put green food coloring in the milk. You can't see it until you are pouring it, it is in a carton. Adam was the first to get it. He started to pour the milk, and jumped. I started to laugh, so he knew I did it. He just looked at me and told me I'm such a dork, and ate his green milk covered cornflakes! Then Lilli was next. I walked into the kitchen to see her just standing there, staring at her cereal. With out even moving, she just said, "Um, mom, the milk is green, I think it is moldy!" I fell on the floor laughing, trying to say April fools. She just laughed at me. Then Dillin, he did a double take. He started to get ready to pour, but looked inside the carton first, looked at his cereal, and quickly looked at the milk again. I started laughing, and he just looked at me and said, "That is disgusting!" Tori over heard him, so I did not get her with it. Then later that day they wanted sugar Cinnamon popcorn. I said sure. Tori was with me. I popped it on the stove, and suggested we get Lilli and Dillin again. We took a small amount out and poured baking soda and Cinnamon on it, and stirred it up. I then called Lilli in the kitchen and said that she could have this little bit, even though it is not snack time, and it should not affect her. She has Type 1 diabetes, for those of you who don't know. She took a piece and popped it in her mouth. She chewed it up and started to make a funny face. I again started laughing, and she yelled, "ugh, mom, no more April fools jokes!" I then called Dillin up and told him I have some sugar popcorn for him. He was watching a movie, and he came up telling me what part he was at, and started eating without even thinking. He ate several pieces, before he made a face, and spit the last piece out and just as politely said, "Um mom, there is something wrong with this popcorn." I told him there wasn't and that he just needs to eat it, and I started to eat the real stuff. He just looked at his bowl, and looked back at me, and put another piece in his mouth. Then said "No mom, really there is something wrong with this popcorn!" Me being surprised I kept from laughing for so long, finally started laughing, and said "April Fools!" He just sighed and asked for the good stuff. I then proceeded to give a piece to Sabrina. She loves popcorn. She put the piece in her mouth, and just frowned really big. Then spit it out. I laughed and gave her the good stuff. Then a few minutes later, gave her another piece, and she just spit it out quivering! Oh I'm a mean mom, but I do love it so. Adam tried to get me later by putting a tie thing around the spray hose on the sink, but the first time, Tori got it, and she freaked trying to figure out what was going on, and the second time I saw it, before I turned it on. Nobody can get me!!!!! I love April fools. Okay I think that is for now, I will be back in a month, if not sooner! Take care all.
